Antony Gormley Where
Antony Gormley: Where introduces four new series of works on paper by Antony Gormley, each exploring the singularity of oneself and perspective.
A new essay by Steven Connor, author and Professor of English at King’s College London, and a conversation between Gormley and Sera Markoff, Plumian Professor of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, traces bodily consciousness through its definitions, manifestations, poetic and literary associations and, notably, the places it occupies.
From the converging intimacy and anonymity captured in the Body and Bodyspace series to the open spaces that glimpse through in Aperture and Lux works, the 94 page hard-back book explores the central question: ‘Where am I?’.
