Prints and Drawings
The Alan Cristea Gallery will exhibit a new group of works on paper by Mimmo Paladino, one of the most important Italian artists working today. The exhibition will consist of three main series of prints, namely Composers, Miraggi, and Nude Descending the Staircase. The latter set being accompanied by related drawings and gouaches.
Printmaking has always been a vital means of expression for Paladino and this exhibition will be a rare opportunity to see the artist's new work. The show also brings together all the major prints he has made since the publication of his catalogue raisonné in 2001.
