British and American Representational Prints 1990 - 1995
The Alan Cristea Gallery is mounting an exhibition of representational prints made by nine British and nine American artists between 1990 and 1995. While all the artists have a different approach to figuration, the imagery of each individual is extremely vivid and distinctive.
The technical scope and creative processes of printmaking are of great importance to these artists. Their imaginative use of the medium confirms the international renown they have gained during their careers. Above all, the works chosen for exhibition demonstrate the richness and diversity of contemporary representational art.
