Jim Dine at 90
These works trace the arc of Dine’s developing vocabulary – hearts, robes, tools, flora, and the Venus de Milo - which the artist continues to remake and reinvent. Each work, born from longstanding collaborations with master printers across Europe and the US, exemplifies the diversity of technical methods Dine employs in his printmaking practice; these are demonstrated most recently in a new series of monumental works, created by gouging and sawing into a two-metre wood block, each impression then extensively hand-painted.
See Dine’s latest works at the 2025 edition of Art Basel, where Cristea Roberts Gallery is exhibiting work on booth G9 (19 – 22 June 2025), and in the artist’s forthcoming solo exhibition at the Stadtmuseum Hofheim am Taunus in Germany. For enquiries please contact sales@cristearoberts.com.
