Cristea Roberts Gallery is offering an exciting opportunity to work in a leading international contemporary art gallery, based in the heart of London.

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and work with the Gallery’s external accountants on all aspects of reporting and assisting with Management accounts and audit.

Applicants should have at least two years’ experience in an art industry finance role, and the role may also suit a qualified accountant with similar experience. Training with internal procedures will be given.

• A good working knowledge of Xero and Excel required, and familiarity with Art Logic would be an advantage.
• Experience in the art world or an interest in and knowledge of art an advantage.
• Experience in Compliance procedures, especially AMLR, essential. The position requires someone who is happy to work at all levels including data entry and bookkeeping.
• The successful candidate will be dealing with clients and artists, so strong communication skills are essential.

The job will require the candidate to be an active member of wider gallery team which involves participating in gallery events and some Saturday work. Hybrid working is offered on a limited basis after the first six months.
