In 2024 Craig-Martin unveiled Cosmos, his first 360-degree digital installation, at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. This monumental, immersive panorama engulfed the viewer in the world of his objects. In his own words, “It’s a summation of the cosmos, of my cosmos, of what I’ve done”.
For these new prints Craig-Martin depicts stemmed flowers from this installation. The works, which do not require framing and appear to float from the wall, can be arranged in different groupings. Tulips, gerberas, sunflowers, roses and lilies defy gravity and scale, overlapping and drifting weightlessly into the distance.
Moving between sculpture, installation, painting, print and drawing, Craig-Martin continues to be fascinated by the potential of technological advances to create new work. View Cosmos 1 – 12 at Cristea Roberts Gallery Booth 303 at The Armory Show (24 – 27 September 2026) or by appointment at the gallery in London.
