Eva Rothschild
For Eva Rothschild, drawing and printmaking have always been important facets of her work as a sculptor, presenting an opportunity to experiment with colour, gradation and shape.
For her first major print project with the gallery, Eva Rothschild presents Garland, 2024, a series of four screenprints inspired by mazes, puzzles, fluted surfaces and classical ruins.
Through the process of screenprinting and the layering of colour, the artist has brought highly sculptural elements to this body of work, depicting segmented forms that seem to extend beyond the two-dimensional surface.
Rothschild’s screenprints are energetic and directional, much like her sculptures, forms seem to shift and move, challenging the eye with their illusionistic quality, materiality, and depth.
Works from this series are available to buy as a set or single prints.
