Jim Dine
The Alan Cristea Gallery is holding an exhibition of works on paper by the leading American artist, Jim Dine. The exhibition of over thirty drawings, etchings and lithographs, dating from 1972 to the present day, on the themes of Tools and Flowers will celebrate his achievements as one of the most important draftsmen and printmakers of our time.
In spring 2004, the National Gallery of Art in Washington held a major retrospective of Dine's drawings. Dine's accompanying lecture for this exhibition will feature in the catalogue for this exhibition.
